Hi (insert hand wave here) — I’m Candace.
I sat down to write this About Me and quickly realized that writing personal profiles is… not exactly my strong suit. So instead of forcing it, here are a few fun facts that pretty much sum me up:
- Born and raised in Calgary
- Youngest child, with two older (sometimes wiser) sisters
- According to my husband, my best feature—aside from my impeccable personality—is my hair
- Speaking of my husband—we met on a blind date
- Best job I’ve ever had: being a mom
- The pay is terrible and my bosses can be real jerks, but still wouldn’t trade it
- I love IKEA and feel absolutely no shame about it
- Favourite colour: white or black, depending on the day
- Favourite food: a very serious tie between tacos and pizza
- Favourite beverage: margarita
- Favourite room to design: bedrooms (bonus points if they’re kids’ rooms)
- Recently discovered a deep love for home organization—labeling everything genuinely brings me joy
- Favourite pastime: karaoke (obviously)
At the heart of it all, I love creating spaces that feel thoughtful, functional, and effortless—without taking life (or design) too seriously.
